About me
I think of myself as being pretty common.
My hair is always curlier on one side than it is on the other, and it seems like I never have time to do my make-up. I fall down the stairs, run into furniture, and trip over...well...everything. I'm late to appointments sometimes, even when I try my hardest to be on time. Some days I hate romantic comedies because they remind me that I'm single, but other days, I rock out to break-up songs and celebrate being unattached. Once in a while, I listen to sad music just so I can cry. And I think that makes me pretty average.
But my God is anything but common.
He designed that system of vibrations we call music. He set the planets in motion. He even knows where everybody's car keys are. Every single thought of every single person since the beginning of time has reached his ears. And astoundingly he loves us, and thought his son worth having us reconciled to him.
And that amazing God picked imperfect me to share his love on a mission trip to Uganda. That makes me feel pretty special.
